We have used TV advertising since Russ became involved with us. The start was just post recession and we were struggling with our marketing using local press and local radio which was not producing notable results.
At my first meeting with Russ he brought up a proposal including TV advertising. I was skeptical about using TV because of the costs I imagined it would incurr and the fact that it covered a fragmented area that we would not attract customers from. I was wrong on both counts, the costs are affordable in proportion to the business we have achieved, and we have vastly increased our geographical spread attracting customers across the whole Border TV region. This week we got an order for Himola from a customer who lives 100 miles away and saw the model he was interested in on our TV advert. Without that exposure we would not have converted that sale.
In my humble opinion TV has proved to be by far the most effective form of advertising for Chrysties.
