Our Commercial Audiences team won Gold at the Mediatel Connected Consumer Awards 2017 for their truly innovative and first of its kind study which explored the value of advertising within ITV programmes apps.

The award won was for Best Research Project/Initiative, for our 'Second screen - the Science behind programme apps' work with Neuro-Insight.

Judge, and Director of Research the Media, Richard Marks commented; 

"This year’s shortlisted entries cover diverse services and techniques, including second screen apps, social media, streaming audio, advertising viewability and chatbots. The judges felt that the Gold should go to ITV’s research, which used neuroscience to understand how viewers use second screen apps and to confirm their receptivity to advertising.”

Our new award winning research study uses the power of neuroscience to discover how engaged ITV programme app users are with its entertainment shows and the benefits for brand partners.
